LETS TALK AFRICA CHECK

 

                 

Firstly the Africa check organization presentation was okay according to my own perspective but I didn’t know about Africa check, what do they do,what do they provide when it comes to journalism , actually it was my first time hearing about it and I wanted to know more about it from the start. What they  taught us was amazing actually, because we got a chance to know that it is important to know what fact is and what is not before writing a news story or news article. Having this presentation really helped me when it comes to improving my writing skills and they showed us that you can also see whether the picture is taken from somewhere that was really a good thing know because it eliminated a lots of plagiarism. Africa check is an organization that is focusing on promoting Accuracy in public and media of Africa, without lying or hiding some facts in journalism the is still a lot of work to be done, we need to fix our mistakes before it is too late. Because this taught me a lot and I had these funny questions like what if I have been feeding people lie or maybe even worse. Africa check is actually the organization that does it all because they also told us that they take volunteers on being a fact checker and they provide everything including training, I became interested from the get go. If someone can ask me what Africa check does, I’ll say they help people by providing them with the facts not opinions and not lies. Just to rep it up I hope Africa check can do this till infinity and help out society of journalism do better.
